About QRCodeMaps

We believe every building should be easy to navigate. No million-dollar project required.

The problem we solve

Every day, millions of people walk into unfamiliar buildings and get lost. Hotels, hospitals, universities, event venues, warehouses — they all share the same problem. Visitors ask staff for directions. Staff repeat the same answers. Time is wasted on both sides.

Traditional indoor wayfinding solutions — BLE beacons, custom apps, digital kiosks — cost tens of thousands of dollars, take months to deploy, and require ongoing IT maintenance. They are designed for airports and shopping malls, not for the 99% of buildings that just need something simple.

Our approach

QRCodeMaps takes a radically simpler approach. Upload any map image — a floor plan, a campus layout, a hand-drawn sketch. Click to place markers on key locations. Print QR codes and stick them at the matching spots.

When a visitor scans a QR code with their phone camera, they see the map with “You are here” and can search for where they need to go. No app download. No account creation. No Wi-Fi required. It just works.

What we believe

Simplicity wins

The best wayfinding solution is the one that actually gets used. QR codes require nothing from the visitor — no download, no learning curve.

Technology should be invisible

Visitors do not care about your tech stack. They care about finding the conference room. The technology should disappear behind the experience.

Data should inform decisions

Every scan and search tells you something about how visitors navigate. That data helps you improve signage, layout, and the visitor experience over time.

Built for real spaces

QRCodeMaps is used by hotels, hospitals, universities, museums, conference centers, warehouses, and offices around the world. From a 10-room boutique hotel to a 500-bed hospital, the same simple setup works.

We are a small, focused team building a product we believe in. If you have questions or feedback, reach out at contact@qrcodemaps.com.
