Warehouse wayfinding beyond the aisle marker
Warehouses are usually well marked for the people who work in them every day. Aisle markers, bay numbers and floor paint handle the picking operation, and the team learns the layout in a week.
The gap is everyone else. Agency staff on their first shift, drivers looking for a specific dock, engineers visiting a machine, auditors, and the office worker who needs the goods-in desk and has never been past the racking.
